Overview of pyrolysis technology

Organic solid waste pyrolysis equipment is mainly used for the comprehensive resource disposal of solid waste such as oil sludge, sludge, paint residues, hazardous waste packaging, waste tires, paper industry solid waste, medical waste, ASR,domestic waste RDF, etc. Under continuous or intermittent feeding conditions, organic solid waste is placed in a closed pyrolysis furnace, in an oxygen deficient environment. The macromolecular chains that make up organic compounds undergo a thermochemical reaction at a temperature of 400-650 ° C for 30-60 minutes before breaking and pyrolysis gas is generated, which is passed through a specially designed condensation system to produce an oil-based pyrolysis solution. The gas that cannot be condensed enters the combustion chamber for heating, then most of the heat energy of the high-temperature flue gas is absorbed when flowing through the main pyrolysis furnace. Finally the flue gas is discharged after after entering the back-end flue gas system for treatment in order to meet the emission standards. After this process, the organic matter is transformed into high value-added energy products with high energy density, such as reusable oil, carbon black and gas.

Complete set of equipment for continuous pyrolysis mainly includes pretreatment system, pyrolysis module,oil receiving module,flue gas treatment module ,non condensable gas purification heat utilization module, and electrical control module.

 

Pretreatment system

The solid waste is crushed, sorted, dired and compatible to obtain qualified raw materials.

 

Pyrolysis module

It is composed of feeding system, main pyrolysis furnace, combustion system and discharge system, it is used to send materials into the main pyrolysis furnace, decompose the material and then transport them to the lower end, it is the main part of material pyrolysis.

 

Feeding system:It's composed of mixing device, seal conveying device and gas locking device, the material can be continuous feed into the main pyrolysis furnace, and the gas locking device can reduce or isolate the air from entering the furnace or the overflow of pyrolysis gas.

 

Main pyrolysis furnace:It is composed of rotary furnace body, hot air channel and insulation layer, furnace head connect feeding system, furnace tail equipped with pyrolysis solid product outlet, and pyrolysis gas exhaust pipeline.

 

Combustion system:It is composed of natural gas combustor, non condensable gas burner, combustion cylinder, pipeline and pipeline accessories, using non condensable gas and the neutral gas as fuel to incinerate harmful substance in non condensable gas at high temperature.

 

Discharge system:It is composed of gas locking device and cooling conveying equipment, which can cool the pyrolysis carbon to below room temperature +40℃ for safe output. And the gas locking device can reduce or isolate the air from entering the furnace or the overflow of pyrolysis gas.

Oil receiving module

It is composed of spray tower, light oil condenser, heavy oil condenser, oil receiving platform, three-phrase separation, oil tank, oil pump, pipeline and pipeline accessories. The function is to separate the pyrolysis gas produced by  the main pyrolysis furnace,generated pyrolysis oil and non condensable gas,and separate and store pyrolysis liquid at the same time.

 

Flue gas treatment module

It is composed of cooling and temperature reduction tower,activated carbon adsorption,alkali neutralization, dust removal, fan and chimney. It is used to purify the flue gas discharged from the pyrolysis furnace and discharge it after reaching the standard.

 

Non condensable gas purification heat utilization module

After pyrolysis,the non condensable gas separated by the oil receiving system is introduced into the pressure stabilizing tank through the purification and pressure control device,and then stably transmitted to the heating device through the water sealed tank. The non condensable gas can be used for heating in the furnace, or it can be directly burned in the boiler system to form steam as products for export for heating and heating applications.

 

Electrical control module

It is composed of electrical control system, central control room and safety control system, its function is to control the whole set of equipment.

Pretreatment system

The semi continuous furnace can feed with the feeding system without opening the large furnace door, which is environmentally friendly and easy to operate.

 

Pyrolysis and combustion system

After the material is sent into the main pyrolysis furnace,the material is decomposed by indirect heating to produce pyrolysis gas and pyrolysis carbon ,which is the main part of the material pyrolysis.

Batch pyrolysis main furnace is composed of rotary furnace body,hot air channel,insulation layer and bottom frame assembly.The furnace door can be opened ,after feeding the materials into the furnace at once,close the furnace door.Furnace tail equipped with pyrolysis gas exhaust pipeline ,which is connected to the pyrolysis gas condensation system.In front of the semi continuous pyrolysis main furnace is equipped with a feeding device,feeding can be achieved without opening the furnace door.

 

Combustible system is composed of combustor,combustion cylinder,pipeline and pipeline accessories.Using non condensable gas and natural gas as fuels to incinerate harmful substances in non condensable gas at high temperature.

 

Oil receiving module

It is composed of buffer tank, condenser, alkali washing tank, water sealed tank, oil receiving platform, oil pump, oil tank, water receiving tank, pipeline and pipeline accessories. It is used to separate the pyrolysis gas generated by the main pyrolysis furnace from gas and liquid to generate pyrolysis liquid and non condensable gas. At the same time, the pyrolysis liquid formed by condensation is transported from the condenser to the heavy oil tank and light oil tank for storage, and the condensate in the buffer tank enters the water receiving tank for storage.

 

Flue gas treatment module
